Godlike eSports, a prominent name in the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) scene, recently unveiled Jelly, formerly known as Gunjan Thakur, as their new In-Game Leader (IGL). Jelly's arrival follows his departure from OR Esports, marking a strategic move for both player and team.
Recognized for his consistent performance, Jelly's strategic prowess was a key factor in leading his former team to various tournaments. Despite OR Esports' strong start in BGIS 2023, they faced a setback on the final day, securing a 9th-place finish. However, Jelly's leadership guided the team to an impressive 4th place in the Skyesports Esports Championship 5.0 and a 7th place in the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023.
As Jelly steps into his new role, Godlike Esports also revealed their lineup for the Red Bull M.E.O Season 6 Finals. The roster features Jonathan, Jelly, Aditya, Gill, and Zgod. Notably, the organization has not released any players from its original lineup, making the team's dynamics and future player roster intriguing for fans.
The addition of Jelly to Godlike Esports BGMI roster comes at a crucial time for the team, considering their past struggles in qualifying for major events. With Jelly now at the helm, the team enters the Red Bull M.E.O Season 6 Finals with renewed vigor, seeking to overcome previous obstacles and make a mark on the competitive BGMI scene.
