Esports Premier League signs Indian film star Tiger Shroff as the face of the first-ever franchise-based Esports League. Tiger Shroff has become one of the first-ever personalities from Bollywood to tie up with Indian Esports. ESPL is a nationwide Free Fire tournament that follows a league format. The number of teams are representing various Indian cities and they will be competing against each other for a mega prize pool of INR 2,5,00,000. However, Group A event registration is closed but interested participants can compete in the subsequent groups. As the registration for group B are going live now until 24 June, 2021. The final eight teams will be representing eight Indian cities later this year.

The ESPL 2021 will feature a total number of 88 teams who will further qualify via 4 groups. Ahead the teams will be joining by 8 invited teams in the next stage where they will defeat it out for a spot in the league stages. The final 8 teams will be representing the following Indian cities:

• Bengaluru
• Delhi
• Punjab
• Kolkata
• Hyderabad
• Rajasthan

The final 8 teams will compete with each other for a prize pool of INR 1,200,000 as the winners will take it all. As we know, the total prize pool of the event is INR 2,500,000 which will further be distributed among the top eight teams at the event as well as the most valuable player and fan favourite players at ESPL 2021. Grand Finals for this tournament is scheduled at 29 August, 2021.

Developers Garena have yet again dropped the Ban hammer really hard, As more than 1.2 Million Free Fire user accounts have been reportedly banned in the last 14 days. Garena has always been a promoter of a clean and healthy environment for all its users. Free Fire Ban waves have been passed out by Garena in the past, Proceeding a permanent ban to more than 3.7 Million devices in September 2020, Sticking to yet another million accounts being banned in December 2020. It’s been almost 5 months later on a total of 1,225,508 Free Fire users accounts have been thrashed with ban.

Developers of Free Fire have issued a report after thrashing the cheating community with another mega ban wave. At this time a total of 1,225,508 Free Fire accounts have been permanently banned in a duration of just 2 weeks. In which 51% of the Banned accounts were those that have actually been reported by other Free Fire users.

Developers Garena is inviting Free Fire users all across India to represent their own individual State or City for their first ever Garena Free Fire City Open, the first-of-its-kind national tournament.

Garena Free Fire City Open Tournament will feature the top 12 teams from across the country, as they will compete for the prize pool of INR 60 Lakhs!!! This 12 teams will consist of top 10 teams from 8 States each, which have been named after their major cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmadabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Lucknow. This are eight of them, So the remaining 2 teams are the wild cards who hail from outside the 8 States. As wide the game is probably it’s tournament is, you would have got that the City Open Tournament is a nationwide tournament, only for Indian Free Fire users and it’s fans. So, the City Open Tournament will target 12 teams all across India that will participate for the share prize pool of over 60 Lakh INR. Esports fans can sign-up via the Free Fire Cup (FFC) mode from 26th of April, 2021 until the match day on 30th of April, 2021.

So, the involvement of these particular cities was done by Garena via the public poll system. So, the top 8 cities states that were mostly voted are:-

• Delhi
• Mumbai (Maharashtra)
• Hyderabad (Telangana)
• Ahmedabad (Gujarat)
• Kolkata (West Bengal)
• Chennai (Tamil Nadu)
• Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh)
• Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh)

Teams will consist of 10 teams from the 8 above-mentioned cities/states with 2 wild card teams from outside the cities/states.

What will be the format of this tournament?

Free Fire City Open Tournament will kick off with the FFC mode on the 30th of April, 2021. As the city finals would be scheduled in the month of June.

Qualifying teams will be selected on their individual city finals; 2 teams selected from the play-ins between the teams ranked between 2 to 4 from each of the 8 city finals and 2 wildcard teams which will be the best teams chosen from the rest of India from outside of the 8 participating cities. Developers will reveal more information on the city open at a later time.

With the ‘Xtreme Encounter’ ability Xayne will be the first character to make its way in OB27 update. Xayne is a huge fan of extreme sports and her ability will allow her to achieve bonus HP and deal extra damage to Gloo walls and shields. Xayne is a perfect counter for Chrono, who depends on his bulky shields.

2. MARO:-

A perfect character for those who love the sniper gameplay. Maro comes with the ability that lets him to deal more damage against targets who are far away distance. This character is said to be a collaboration character to an celebrity, As the details will be revealed at a later date.
