HAIL Esports Emerges as Winners in PMPL Thailand 2023 Spring
The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Thailand 2023 Spring recently concluded on February 25 after 10 days of intense action between 20 of the best Thai teams. Indian organization HAIL Esports, who currently fields a roster in the Thai region, emerged as the winners with an impressive 10 Chicken Dinners and a total of 388 points. Most of their points came in the first week, securing them a spot in the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) Spring 2023. The team also earned a cash prize of $15,000 from the League Stage.
Vampire Esports, one of the strongest teams in the Thai region, claimed second place with players such as Noozy and SchwepXz leading the squad. They dominated the competition in the second week, setting new records. Bacon Time, another seasoned team, finished third with consistent performances throughout the 10 games.
The event showcased the skills of players from different squads, with Noozy from Vampire Esports proving to be one of the best with 69 frags and dealing a total damage of 17296 HP. For his outstanding performance, he was awarded the Season MVP and a prize of $700. Other notable awardees in different categories include SchwepXz (Vampire Esports) for Gunslinger, Noozy (Vampire Esports) for Grenade Master, Concept (Buriram United Esports) for Eagle Eye, and GETSLOW (HAIL Esports) for Survivor.
Buriram United Esports and Bermuda Esports also played well and secured fourth and fifth place, respectively, with 299 and 257 points. The underdogs Bermuda Esports particularly impressed with their resilience. However, The Infinity, one of the most popular Thai squads, had a lukewarm season this split and only managed to secure an eighth-place finish after multiple changes to their roster.
Indian organization Esportswala, who signed the UTG International TH roster, finished 12th, displaying glimpses of their potential but ultimately faltering against stronger teams. Faze Clan’s performance came as a shock to many after undergoing multiple changes during the off-season. The side looked out of sorts and finished 19th with 145 points.
In summary, HAIL Esports emerged as the champions of PMPL Thailand 2023 Spring, showcasing their dominance throughout the event. Other strong teams like Vampire Esports and Bacon Time also proved their worth with impressive performances. The event highlighted the skills of individual players, with Noozy from Vampire Esports being named the Season MVP.
