Midwave Esports Parts Ways with BGMI Roster Ahead of BMPS 2023

Midwave Esports recently parted ways with their BGMI roster, signed just months ago in August. However, the team's performance was deemed mediocre, prompting the organization's decision just before the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023.

Squad Details

The organization bid farewell to their four players:

- Attanki (Randeep Singh Bhullar)

- Aaru (Aaru)

- Dinoysys (Jatin Chauhan)

- Wixxky (Deepanshu Yadav)

Performance Highlights

During their tenure, the team's major achievements were limited. They secured second place in Upthrust Esports Survivors Throne Season 4. In the BGIS 2023, they reached the finale but ended 10th overall. Their performance in Skysports Championship 5.0 was unsatisfactory, failing to enter the finals. They ranked ninth in the Diwali Battle 2023.

Players' Background

Before joining Midwave, Aaru, Attanki, and Wixxky were part of WSB Gaming for two months. Aaru and Attanki previously had successful tenures with OR Esports, competing in various major competitions.

Future Plans

On November 17, BGMI player and YouTuber Snax announced a new team comprising Aaru, Aatanki, Dinosys, and himself for BMPS 2023. This unexpected development adds intrigue to the players' future endeavors.

Uncertain Future for Midwave Esports

It's unclear whether Midwave Official will continue in BGMI with a fresh roster or explore other opportunities in the evolving esports scene. Roster shuffles are underway ahead of the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series, although the schedule is yet to be announced.
