Nothing, the British electronics company, is reportedly preparing to unveil its A-series midrange smartphone, referred to as the Nothing Phone 2a, as per a report by Android Central.
The official social media profile of Nothing has dropped hints about an upcoming announcement later this week, with their bio teasing, "something is coming this week."
The anticipated mid-range phone has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), hinting at a potential release in India in the near future.
Rumored details about the Nothing Phone 2a indicate a 6.7-inch AMOLED display capable of a high 120Hz refresh rate. Allegedly, the display will adopt a punch-hole design housing a 16-megapixel front camera. Meanwhile, the device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor.
While several specifications and hardware specifics remain undisclosed, including the processor details, reports suggest the smartphone will operate on Nothing OS 2.5, based on Android 14.
Nothing appears to aim for the mid-range market segment with its A-series lineup, intending to offer lower-priced options compared to their Android flagship, the Nothing Phone (2). Launched in July this year, the Nothing Phone (2) started at Rs 44,999 and boasted up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
